Iconic band, Van Halen will be performing live in Austin! Unfortunately bassist Michael Anthony will be the only original member not performing with the band. Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie’s son, will be hitting those classic base lines in his place.
In the beginning of the tour “Diamond Dave” Lee Roth, lead singer and front man of the band, had an unfortunate incident with an microphone stand during a televised performance of the ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ show. While spinning the stand wildly, Roth lost control and nailed himself across the bridge of his nose! OUCH!! Nevertheless after a brief intermission, he continued like a trooper, with a Band-aid pasted across his wounded nose. Who cares if Dave looked like he’s wearing a Breathe Rite strip !! THIS IS VAN HALEN!!
Looking forward to checking out Eddie’s legendary guitar riffs and of course, Dave’s infamous stage presence should make make for an interesting and fun show!
