Being a blogger takes a lot of time and effort, requiring one specific element . One must possess a great deal of passion and knowledge about the subject(s) they have chosen, in order to express their views with genuine enthusiasm. Not to mention, reading another person’s blog page with the same or similar interests, helps to spark creativity and ideas for your own blog page, while also providing a different view on the subject.

While scanning through the works of similar bloggers who also have a great passion for music, there was one in particular that caught my eye. A young lady by the name of developed a blog cleverly named “Behind The Music Lyrics”. The focus of this blog was to pinpoint  and discuss the controversial issues that seem to surround music as a whole. The most profound feature of this page in my opinion, is that the author does not focus solely on any one specific style of music or issue, nor does she specify which genre might contain a larger amount of “bad” content. She remains completely unbiased throughout her page.

Lord knows that the heavy metal music genre and the rap genre have definitely had their fair share of bad publicity. However, the blogger chooses to touch on a variety of music, for many different issues. For example, one of the artists mentioned is EMINEM, who has been enveloped by controversy throughout his entire career. His songs have contained lyrics about everything from killing his ex-wife to his hard life growing up in the projects of Detroit. Another topic she addresses is the controversy surrounding rock love songs as opposed to heartbreak songs. She even touches on the different attributes surrounding Christian rap music. This young lady has interesting material incorporated into every blog she has written. “Props” !!
