LYNYRD SKYNYRD – JANUARY 28, 2015 – THE CEDAR PARK CENTER – 7 pm
All my Southern Rock lovers, need to come celebrate the beginning of this new year right !! Get ready to have yourselves one helluva good time with some of that down-home, whiskey drinkin’, ear spankin’, beloved rock and roll music !!
The world renowned, little old southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, has included Texas in their North American tour and will be performing live at the Cedar Park Center on January 28th, 2016! The band has taken their music back to their roots in the most recent DVD and CD release, ‘Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-nerd & Second Helping Live’. This recording is live from a show in their hometown at The Florida Theatre, where they played both of these albums in their entirety.
After a tragic plane crash in 1977 killed the iconic lead singer Ronnie Van Zant, the band went stagnant. Finally, after several years, original member Gary Rossington decided to team up with Ronnie’s little brother, Johnnie Van Zant, to breath life back into this vintage band. Since then, LYNYRD SKYNYRD has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and released over sixty albums to date with thirty million sales worldwide. Not to shabby for a hand full of beer drinking, hell raising, country boys from Jacksonville!
